A Support Engineer (2nd line) / Laptop Rollout Engineer ideally with current CTC clearance is required to be responsible for building laptops and rolling out to users and ensuring that agreed build and rollout targets are fully met.
Other responsibilities include; Arranging logistics for transport of laptops between locations if required, ensuring that Asset Inventory database and Active Directory is updated, dealing with and resolving any user issues and administering the rollout process and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
The role requires a strong background in desktop / laptop support engineer or similar roles.
At least 2 years proven experience in similar role, preferably in a project-based environment
Experience of Technical and Desktop / Laptop Refresh programmes
Troubleshooting skills to raise, manage and resolve user issues
Effective pragmatic delivery of the rollout schedule to time / quality
Co-operative, can do' attitude
Demonstrates an ability to think outside the box'
Ability to work to deadlines in a high pressured environment
Capable of estimating, planning and managing own workload and identifying potential delays and risks
Demonstrate excellent organisation skills
Willingness to travel to other core office locations
