Our client is a local authority based in Greater Manchester who are now looking to secure the services of an ASB Officer to work with them on a contract of around 2 months.
The role will involve:
- ensuring accurate identification of individuals and groups causing anti-social behaviour, including offenders and those at risk of offending
- ensuring early intervention with identified individuals through meetings, interviews and correspondence to discuss, advise and warn as appropriate
- preparing and progressing of appropriate cases to legal action
- ensuring effective reassurance and support to victims and witnesses and the wider community
- maintaining and developing accurate records, data collection and effective information systems; to provide reports, statistical information and monitoring returns
- assisting and deputising for the Anti-Social Behaviour Team Leader as required and carrying out any other duties that may be required in accordance with the nature and grade of the post
