ASP.NET Developer - NHS/Health -Leeds
Our client is looking for an experienced ASP.NET developer. They have embarked on a programme of business change and IT system development. The IT aspect of this programme involves the implementation of a Share Point 2007 environment, the complete redevelopment of all legacy systems and the development of new applications. The role will entail producing requirements and technical specifications, migrating data from legacy systems into SQL Server 2005 using Integration Services, developing front end applications in ASP.Net 3.5, Silverlight and Share Point 2007 and documenting the systems for future support.
Key Responsibilities will be:
•Liaise with users and management to aid in the production of requirements specifications.
•To produce technical specifications to support migration and development processes.
•To migrate datasets from legacy systems into the clients SQL Server 2005 Data warehouse using SSIS and other tools.
•To develop ASP.Net 3.5, Silverlight and/or Share Point 2007 front end applications within the SQL Server 2005 data environment.
•To document the developed applications for future support requirements.
Essential skills required:
Expert ASP.NET 3.5 developer
Expert in SQL Server 2005
Expert T-SQL (SQL Server 2005) and SSIS
Experience in the development and implementation of internal and external facing web applications
Experience with writing system documentation
Experience with Silverlight
Experience with Enterprise Architect
Knowledge of Share Point 2007 development would be desirable but not essential as this can be learnt by someone with the correct .NET knowledge.
