We are looking for an interim Accounts Assistant to join an international animal charity based in central London, working with the UK finance team to cover maternity leave for approximately 5 months.
You will have overall responsibility of the charity's income cycle, including weekly reconciliation of income, posting to SUN and preparation of the monthly income reports. You will also be responsible for direct debit claims, submissions and amendments, standing orders and claiming for gift aid.
The successful applicant should have experience working within a finance function, preferably within a charity, show strong attention to detail, and have a high level of accuracy. They should be a strong team player as will have to work closely with other members of the finance team, and also be able to communicate well with non-finance members of staff.
