We are looking for a creative, motivated, flexible and reliable team player to join our team.
Job Role
You will be planning, developing and coordinating a wide range of social, leisure, therapeutic, educational and vocational pursuits to meet the individual needs of 32 elderly people with Dementia. You will be contributing to activities such as painting, crafts, cookery, music, gardening, exercise, sensory sessions and any other activities the service users choose to enable them to have a full, active and varied life. You will also be accompanying clients on external trips away from the Home.
Personal Attributes
You must have a hands on approach and the ability to problem solve and multi task under pressure.
You will be responsible for record keeping and carrying out administration duties.
An understanding of Dementia is advantageous but not essential.
