Our Client, an Executive Agency is looking to appoint a Board Policy Development Manager. The roles purpose is to provide executive support to the Appointments Board Policy Development Manager
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY'S :
• Business Support - Establish systems to manage a challenging and varied work programme - Presentations to the Board, Council and Committee Members - Establish Links with external bodies, in particular Regulatory Bodies to maintain best practise - Liaise with the Communications Department in order to provide information and regular updates to key stakeholders about the work of the Appointments Board
• Project Management - Manage projects as required, working to agreed timescales - Work with other directorates as required on various projects
• Budget management - Manage annual budget - Authorise appropriate expenditure - Analyse and evaluate financial data - Work with Policy Manager and Management Accounts to monitor spend against forecast
It is essential that you have good communication skills, both written and spoken. The ability to influence, lead and motivate colleagues is a key desired skill as well as has the ability to represent members, individually and collectively, with employers and other stakeholders. You must possess fantastic organisational skills. This shall be a fantastic opportunity for the right person.
