Working in a small, friendly team, you will have responsibility for your own main tasks as well as providing cover in circumstances such as holiday, illness and peak workload.
This key role carries responsibility for the production of monthly management accounts and performance information in relation to partner organisations and assisting in the production of accounts for consideration by Managers, Directors and the Senior Management Team.
Duties include assisting in ensuring that accounting systems, financial processes and controls are maintained and operated effectively; assisting in the implementation and documentation of accounting systems and financial processes; preparing the Financial Statements of the partner organisations and assist in the production of supporting schedules; assisting in the provision of operational financial services, namely Purchase and Sales Ledger administration, rent accounting processes and controls; Control and Reconciliation of all cash and bank accounts; VAT processing and returns to HM Revenue and Customs; Regular reconciliation of control accounts; Allocation of manual payments on the purchase ledger system.
Educated to AAT/Higher level, applicants must have experience in providing financial information and advice to non-finance staff, the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. A proven team player, you will have experience of producing financial statements and management accounts.
