My client is a Housing Association based in West London and they are looking to recruit an Assistant Director of Asset Management. The successful candidate will lead a customer focused team of surveyors responsible for the provision of a comprehensive responsive and planned repairs service to the Association's stock within a designated area.
The Key tasks:-
1. Lead and manage a team of surveyors, recruit, train and develop staff as appropriate ensuring they deliver work and personal development objectives.
2. Manage consultants and contractors, undertaking work in connection with the maintenance and repairs programmes.
3. Manage the team's performance to ensure that KPIs in respect of responsive repairs, void turnaround, planned programmes and budgetary control are met.
4. Act as the client lead on the administration of the Partnering Contract, building strong links with partner contractors and working to build a strong partnering team.
5. Represent the Association on property matters, building links and networks with key partners within local authorities, health, police etc.
6. Ensure that the Association's policies and procedures are implemented, adhered to and monitored. Contribute to the review and revision of policies and procedures as required.
7. Prepare budgets for approval by the Director and manage budgets to ensure expenditure is contained and targets met.
