An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Director of Development to work for a Housing Association in London.
Our client is seeking a highly capable, innovative and tenacious leader to ensure the delivery and growth of their ambitious development plans.
You will oversee a wide portfolio of exciting projects that are helping to change the face of east London and Essex. In motivating, supporting and directing staff to ensure they deliver the highest standards, you will ensure that development projects deliver best practice in design, sustainability and customer satisfaction, helping to ensure that their neighbourhoods are places where people want to live and work.
You will proactively seek innovative solutions to development opportunities, ensuring that work is in line with best practice, in tune with the needs of local communities, meeting design and sustainability standards, and benefitting the people of east London and Essex.
You will: - Be passionate about delivering highly successful developments that meet the needs of customers and make a real contribution to the local area - Have a proven track record in identifying and negotiating the acquisition of sites for development or regeneration and managing complex partnership arrangements - Have a sound understanding of housing, housing law and the regulatory framework, building practices and development and site procurement procedures - Be able to think and act strategically and innovatively - Be highly adept in managing budgets and projects, in line with organisational objectives and regulatory frameworks - Be capable of representing the organisation at the highest level, engaging and influencing key stakeholders
