My client is seeking a professional senior associate or partner level cost manager to provide high level advice to their client on a major PFI project.
The project will involve the design and construction of over 70 different building types and will include major infrastructure works.
The role will involve providing cost consultancy advice to a consortium of clients in the following areas:
High level financial reporting
Change control
Value management / option studies
Risk management
Overall financial management of the project
Detailed cost plans
Cash flow control
Market trends and analysis
Input into package procurement
Setting and reporting against KPI's
Director level design team, contracting team and client liaison
Business development
This position is an excellent opportunity for an existing associate or partner level professional cost manager looking to develop their career within the PFI sector on a major construction project. The scope of the projects will involve the management of an existing team and the recruiting of additional resources to work on this and other major projects as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
A technical qualification, preferably a degree although proven cost management experience will be considered.
A professional membership of a technical body (preferably full chartered membership of RICS, CIOB or equivalent).
Excellent communication skills.
