An immediate requirement exists for a Part Time Approved Building Control Inspector 2.5 days per week to commence a six month contract in Sutton Coldfield. There is scope for this contract to be extended past six months.
The requirement is to boost the current manpower we are supplying to the client to provide Approved Building Inspectors (ABI) to assist with the Building Standards Compliance team. They carry out Building Regulations Determinations and Audits and provide Advice on Bldg Regs interpretation across the clients users/stakeholders community. At present we provide this through a sub-contracted supplier who are struggling to meet our increased resource support requirement. In particular we need someone to be based at Sutton Coldfield to provide back up when the clients personnel are out on site and mentor the clients graduate trainee Building Inspector.
