GoSkills is an employer-led organisation that operates throughout the UK and represents the passenger transport industries.
You will be responsible for managing the East Midlands region to improve the skills base of passenger transport industries. Acting as a key representative for the organisation, communicating sector and industry specific initiatives, to exploit business opportunities. This home based role will involve developing partnerships with local and national agencies to deliver agreed objectives. You will liaise with other professional organisations on behalf of employers to drive forward national policy agendas in the area of skills development.
To succeed in this role you will naturally have an outgoing and engaging personality, be articulate, driven and hard-working. The role will be varied and challenging, drawing on your ability to influence and negotiate with a variety of partners, face to face, in writing and over the phone. Ideally you will have experience working autonomously with a proven track record of delivering within the public sector.
