Business Analyst required to work in the public sector, based in Victoria, London on a 6 month contract initially.
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
• Experience of designing public facing web systems, in particular experience of systems aimed at small businesses would be ideal • Proven record of working with multiple stakeholders in a complex project • Prior experience on information portal specification including researching and devising online customer journeys • Experience of web content and editorial policies including approaches to content maintenance • Ability to participate in prioritising of user needs and lead cost/benefit discussions • Excellent analysis skills and techniques with proficiency in requirements gathering practices and techniques • Ability to convey IT concepts to the non IT literate (i.e. Policy experts) • Excellent document writing and presentation skills • Good interpersonal and communication and negotiation skills • The ability to deal effectively with multiple tasks and issues and work to tight deadlines • Self-starter, pro-active and forward thinking
It would also be desirable for candidates to have experience of working with local government/the devolved authorities.
