A west London based local authority is seeking a reliable and efficient Income Officer, to look after the assessment of client contributions and charging arrangements for residential and nursing care.
The team within which you will work, carry out the financial assessment of weekly contributions for over 900 service users and collect contributions in excess £4m in each year.
You will be required to manage a case load of residential and nursing accounts and ensure that client contributions are calculated accurately and invoices raised are collected in a timely manner.
You will calculate arrears, liaise with welfare benefits and DWP and liaise with Social Work Care Managers to resolve issues of arrears.
