We have an opportunity for dynamic Care Assistants with a positive approach and understanding of person centred care with older people.
Job Role:
To be responsible for delivering a sensitive and efficient care service to residents that enhances their quality of life.
To help promote social activity within the home, and help residents to participate in chosen activities in their local community.
To work within the homes policies and procedures at all times.
To undertake housekeeping duties as required.
The Person:
Experience of working in a care environment, whether in paid employment, voluntary work or informally and/ or an NVQ in a social care setting is desirable although not essential. Full training will be provided
Ability to work as a part of team
Effective interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
Commitment and passion to provide high quality care
Willingness to undertake further training as required
Reliable, patient, flexible, self-confident, sensitive and dedicated
Due to the nature of the role, clear verbal communication skills are essential
