An excellent opportunity has become available for an interim Childcare Development Worker within a Local Authority Children and Young People Services Team.
Duties: -Lead on refreshing the Childcare Sufficiency Assessment -Review levels and patterns of childcare provision across the borough -Contribute to the development of the Children and Young People's Information Service to parents of 0 - 19 year olds -Monitor service standards -Market the service
Skills: -Good analytical skills together with the ability to plan strategically and set priorities. -Ability to manage staff. -Good communication skills and personal organisation are essential, as are IT skills in Word and Excel. -Experience of partnership working with diverse organisations. -Understanding of issues affecting children and parents in the local community are desirable.
