A local government team are looking to appoint a community development officer on a temporary basis initially with the opportunity to go onto a permanent contract.
Duties include:
-To provide advice, support and capacity development work to key areas of regeneration.
-Interact with local community groups and agencies.
-Partnership working with key departments including the police, community police support teams, YOT teams, environment departments amongst others.
-To report, as required, via the appropriate management structure.
-To liaise with the Neighbourhood Investment Area leader.
