Our London based client is looking for a contaminated land officer to work in its Environmental department.
To carry out the duties of an Environmental Health Officer imposed by statute
Key Responsibilities: Investigate complaints relating to Statutory Nuisances as defined in the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and other relevant legislation.
Carry out air quality monitoring as necessary.
Enforce the requirements of Part I of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
Carry out water quality monitoring and enforcement as necessary.
Enforce relevant parts of the Clean Air Acts and Control of Pollution Act 1974.
Essential Requirements: B.Sc in Environmental Health or other qualifications relevant to Environmental Health activities functions, in particular Air Quality, Contaminated Land and Environmental Protection.
