A County Council based in Essex require a Qualified Contract Accountant to work within the Finance Directorate of the Regeneration team.
As a Contract Accountant your main duties will be to investigate and compile all information relating to the partnership, ensuring robust controls exist and aligning financial information to the strategy. You will have to work closely with the Central Accounting team and the Partnership.
Grant accounting and public sector experience would be beneficial but not essential and should have the ability to work independently and have a direct report line into the Senior Finance Manager within Central Finance.
Excel will be used along with the Cedar accounting software
