A leading social housing provider within London is looking for a Contracts Supervisor on the mechanical side to join their Building Services Team. Candidates should have relevant experience with the supervision of the gas and mechanical services planned preventative maintenance and responsive repairs contracts this will include carrying out site inspections for projects included in the gas and mechanical services Capital Programme.
The main responsibilities of the role will include undertaking quality control of the planned preventative maintenance and responsive repairs contracts to ensure the contractor is meeting the original specification. You will need to be able to provide inspection reports and a record of defects and be responsible for ensuring Contractors complete defects within the prescribed time periods and to the contract specification.
This will also include responsible for the gas contracts and heating of estates, undertaking and taking proactive action to ensure a reliable and adequate supply of heating and hot water service to both the residential and commercial properties within the area.
Candidates should have a minimum of an HNC in Building Services or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering as well as ACS Gas qualification (for installations).
