Auditor Job Description: Checking financial records of a company to verify its financial status
Analysing accounting records, including an of the following: monies payable and receivable, invoicing, cancelled cheques, credit notes, purchasing, payroll, petty cash and expenses
Report any anomalies
Prepare financial analysis report
Suggest improvements and recommendations where necessary to improve the companys financial system
Working Environment:You will be working at the clients sites, so will be traveling around a little. Sometimes there is an option to work from home, but mostly you would need to visit the client site.
What qualifications / training do I need to work in Audit?You should be educated to at least degree level in Accountancy or related subject. Some employers will prefer a Masters degree or MBA. If you are looking for qualified Auditor job roles, you will need to have one or more of the following qualifications:
CIMA: Chartered Institute of Management Accountancy
ACA: Association of Chartered Accountancy
ACCA: Certified Chartered Accountants
CIPFA: The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy
IIA: Institute of Internal Auditors

Salary Details:
Part Qualified Auditor (in training) - salary can vary from £18,000 to £25,000*
Qualified Auditor salary can vary from £30,000 to £45,000*
Chief Auditor / Senior and Management Roles salary can vary from £50,000 to £70,000*
