A renowned National Agency is seeking a confident and dedicated Deputy Head of Communications to join their vibrant team in London on a permanent basis.
The successful Deputy Director of Communications will have the ability to communicate effectively with external partners, have a sound understanding of a range of key communications tools including; the web, marketing, advertising, events and media relations, as well as having the ability to prepare high quality, well written publicity materials such as press releases and newsletters.
Main duties will include; providing press support and acting as the primary point of contact for all press relations, contributing to the successful delivery of the external and internal communications strategy and being responsible for managing media training programmes as well as liaising with stakeholders at a national level.
The Deputy Director of Communications will ideally have extensive project management skills and experience of liaising with senior management in order to lead in the strategic direction of the communication management services, also possessing a good understanding of the not-for-profit sector and be confident in managing key corporate events.
The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, proactive, creative and diplomatic, enjoy working in a close knit team and have line management experience.
