Our client a Housing Association based in Buckinghamshire is looking to recruit a Development Manager. This is a nationwide Housing Association and requires an individual to identify opportunities for the provision of new affordable housing. You will also be charged with generating and securing new business by working with internal and external stakeholders.
You will be:
•Working with the Regional Development Manager to identify and secure new opportunities
•Working an on a large multimillion pound development programme
•Expanding and diversifying the Group's business aspirations
•Developing and maintaining a comprehensive external network of contacts relevant to securing and delivering new business opportunities
•Assisting as required in the development of policies, systems and procedures, and the production of management information
The successful candidate will have:
•Thorough knowledge of housing development process
•Track record of negotiating and sustaining successful Partnerships
•Ability to prepare and monitor the preparation of risk and financial appraisals and assess viability of schemes
•Experience of managing projects
•Able to travel on a regular basis and to work occasional irregular hours
