Directorate Manager - Education Sector - 5 Months Coventry
We require a Manager with extensive experience of working within the Education sector to set up and manage the work that our clients Strategy and Policy Directorate are undertaking relating to:
• Local Authority Strategy Engagement
• Expert Consultants Network
Key Deliverables:
•The achievement of Strategy and Policy Directorate project plan for LA engagement
•The redevelopment of the Expert Consultants network as a Leadership network
Mandatory Skills
•Understanding of education and the role of local authorities
•Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others
•The ability to write concisely and accurately
•The ability to organise and co-ordinate complex processes
•Self motivated, resilient and results oriented
•Resourceful, full of initiative and good at problem solving, especially in difficult situations
•System design and a knowledge of effective systems
Desirable:
•Good project and programme management skills
•A proven record of team working and an ability to work collaboratively with other partners and stakeholders
•Influential with an ability to persuade others to see your point of view
