Eden Brown are currently looking for a Full Time, Electrical Engineer for a key client at Carver Barracks, Essex.
Job Purpose:
Capable of lone working to support the Establishment Electrical Engineering Team in the day to day maintenance activities as required within both Response and Planned Maintenance activities within his/her own formerly trained skill set.
Responsibilities:
·Carry out the planned preventative and response maintenance programme and ensure compliance with management systems, relevant guidelines, statutory acts and regulations.
·Through diligent action minimise the risk of mechanical failure and breakdown. When breakdowns do occur, act effectively to undertake the remedial works as directed by the Site Supervisor or his/her deputy.
·Deal with emergencies and breakdowns. This requires a high level of commitment and participation in an ‘on call' rota for emergencies outside normal working hours. Attendance will also be required occasionally outside normal hours to deal with certain maintenance procedures.
Skills required:
C&G in Electrical Engineering would be an advantage.
