An Enforcement Officer is required for a Local Authority in North London to support the the current Environmental Enforcement Team.
In order to be considered for this role you need to hold a relevant qualification(s) in e.g. environmental qualification or similar field AND/OR experience appropriate to the post (for example abandoned vehicles enforcement, street scene enforcement, planning enforcement or related areas)
Experience of undertaking , including identification of offences, gathering and recording evidence, interviewing suspects and preparing infringement reports.
The ability to research, collate and write reports and surveys
The ability to deal with sensitive clients and situations.
An understanding the of Quality Standards in service delivery
Desirable:
Court experience – both criminal courts and planning appeals
An understanding of the health and safety requirements applicable to a front line enforcement service.
