A north London Borough is looking to recruit Enforcement Officer to provide an integrated and responsive enforcement service to the residents and businesses of the Borough, by ensuring consistent and fair enforcement of planning regulations and progressing enforcement outcomes that are consistent with enforcement policy.
As the Enforcement Officer your main responsibilities will be to provide information and basic advice on planning enforcement matters to members of the public. You will investigate complaints and allegations of unauthorised developments, including visits to and interviews with members of the public.
The successful Enforcement Officer will have good communication skills. Have the ability to operate within a multi-functional team, delivering results under pressure and during periods of change.
You will be degree level or equivalent, educational achievement in an enforcement related area.
