As Environment Projects Officer (EPO), you will work in the Environment team in the Regeneration Housing & Environment Directorate.
The EPOs role is to promote the sustainability agenda within the Directorate. Key tasks include;
Undertaking sustainability appraisals for the new developments in the
borough.
Leading on renewable energy projects/projects promoting best practice in sustainable construction and procurement, including assessment of bids in major projects.
Familiarity with the Code for sustainable homes, Breeam and the role of renewable energy assessments in the planning process is needed.
Ideal candidate would be an advocate/enthusiast for sustainable development with knowledge of best practice in sustainable construction and procurement and awareness of the climate change agenda
