Our client a leading Children's Charity based in London is seeking to appoint a Governance Manager to work 3 days a week in a pivotal new role within the Organisation.
The Main responsibilities of the role include:
- Trustee recruitment, covering everything from advertising roles to organising induction and training of new trustees
- Acting as company secretary for the team, lodging documents, responding to queries and dealing with the submission of the annual report
- Taking responsibility for the training and induction of new members
- Updating the governance handbook
- Lodging annual returns
The key criteria required for the role includes:
- Previous experience in working in a similar governance or company secretary role
- Great communication and diplomacy skills
- Experience in dealing with a large number of stakeholders both internal and external at a senior level
- Strong organisational skills and an ability to prioritise and delegate out responsibility
