An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Grants & Loans Manager to join a Charity based in London.
You will be required to: - Develop and implement a Welfare Strategy for the Grant & Loan Department - Assess the current provision of services, identifying needs and developing new initiatives - Ensure standards of service are maintained - Develop procedures for the efficiency of the department - Deliver support services to the targeted community - Manage all aspects of the grant and loan service delivery through the development of policy and guideline literature, training and monitoring - Manage the departmental budget - Make recommendations on the grants strategy and policy - Facilitate and develop policies and case management proposals
You will have: - A degree or equivalent in a relevant social policy field or significant management experience within this area - Experience of making bids for funding - Experience of grant giving work - Experience of developing policy - Experience within the charity sector
You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
