Our client a social business providing homes and neighbourhood services to customers in the Derbyshire area is currently recruiting for a Head of Business Development.
As a member of the Senior Management Team the Head of Business Development will lead the organisation in delivering growth through development activity; and to actively identify and deliver new growth to the Group across all areas of the business, with the assistance of key managers.
You will ensure the effective, efficient and sensitive use of existing housing and other ancillary stock in accordance with the Group's strategic, economic and development aspirations.
You will actively market and promote the Group business across all stakeholder sectors.
You will contribute to corporate decision making, policy formulation and the achievement of company objectives.
You will ensure the Group and individual members receive the development support required to help achieve improved service delivery, maintaining a strong internal customer focus in support of operational teams. You will also support and develop team members to ensure their contribution to the Group is maximised through effective performance management.
Candidates must have the following Experience, Knowledge and Understanding:-
Proven experience of achieving successful business growth.
Experience of managing a business development team.
Experience of project managing multiple complex projects.
Experience of performance based management in a customer focused service organisation.
Experience of leading on business initiatives.
Knowledge and understanding of statutory and regulatory frameworks and key issues in the sector.
