Head of Major Gifts and Legacy Giving
Working with one of the UK's leading conservation charities you will be reporting to the Director of Resource Development world-wide and working closely with the Head of Major Gifts and Legacy Giving in the US and Germany to increase revenue from individual and legacy gifts.
Duties
Responsible for mature legacy marketing and administration programme
Responsible for the strategic management and growth of a new major gifts programme
Developing, executing and managing annual plans with outcomes, objectives and goals
Developing major gifts and legacy strategies and solicitation plans for individual donors and prospects
Recommending and managing prospect visits and events for major and legacy gift prospects
Essentials
A substantial knowledge of successful fundraising experience
Significant experience managing a mature legacy programme
Experience with major gifts techniques with a proven track record of closing gifts
Proven ability to manage and motivate staff, including coaching and mentoring
Proven ability to interact in a persuasive and professional manner with a wide variety of people
Excellent communication and networking skills with an ability to work within a diverse team spread over more than one location
