Our client an exciting Regulatory body is seeking to appoint a Head of Professional Practice to lead the work of the organisation in respect of all aspects of professional practice
Heading the Professional Practice team the main responsibilities are:
- Taking responsibility for progressing the organisations alternative business structures and code of conduct development
- Managing the Standards and Quality Team and ensuring that all there is a successful delivery of all aspects of the set business plan
- Policy development with regards to new laws surrounding Alternative Business Structures
- A responsibility for developing a new regulatory framework for quality assurance
- An ability to work in conjunction with external stakeholders and other regulatory bodies ensuring that they are appropriately consulted and kept informed of all policy development issues
The essential skills required include:
- A degree or an equivalent qualification
- Previous working experience of working within a legal background
- An understanding of the principles of regulatory practice
- Proven experience in developing complex policies
- Strong project and time management skills
- An ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders at a senior level
