Our client, a Primary Care Trust, is seeking to appoint a Head of Risk Management. You will be required to provide leadership and expertise on risk management to drive forward, manage and deliver the risk management agenda across all Directorates within the PCT.
The Head of Risk Management will be the organisational lead for the development, co-ordination and implementation of effective risk management strategies and associated policies across the organisation. You will work with colleagues to ensure an integrated approach to patient safety and embed a risk management culture throughout the PCT. Moreover, you will be responsible for the line management and performance of the Risk Management Team and associated budgets.
Candidates wishing to apply for the Head of Risk Management must have at least 4 years knowledge of Risk Management systems within the NHS in either clinical or non-clinical areas. You must also have proven experience of managing a database / risk management software and an up to date knowledge and understanding of statutory and regulatory risk management issues.
