Job reference 20967
Our Client, a leading Housing Association for Homeless People, is looking for an experienced Employment and Training Manager to lead in the development of their Work and Learning Provision. The post is based in Central London and comes with a great package.

The main focus of the client is to work with Homeless service users across Central and South East London with an aim to get them off the street and give the education, training and life skills required for independent living. The Work and Learning provision is towards the end of the process, ensuring that the service users are truly ready for this stage. All referrals made to the Work and Learning Provision will come from internal partnership working. This in turn provides excellent knowledge of the service users, allowing far more productive outcomes. Whilst the core aim of this role is to develop the Work and Learning Division, it can be broken down into the following areas;
•To manage, lead, develop and motivate the workforce, this will include ensuring all training programmes have been completed and that all staff are aware of the current employ-ability climate.
•To manage the provision and the way in which it is being delivered using existing frameworks and other monitoring methods as set out by the organisation.
•To continually pursue new funding avenues and contribute to existing bids, ensuring the continual strength of the provision.
•To identify and work with new organisations to launch joint bids and partnership working, allowing greater delivery and wider knowledge of the service offered by the organisation.

The post in question carries great responsibility and as a result applicants are expected to have proven experience of managing employ-ability projects previously. Due to the nature of the work being delivered by the team, Numeracy, Literacy and Job Skills etc, applicants are also required to have a teaching qualification and strong knowledge of delivering set curriculums.

Whilst the role will be demanding, it has the possibility of huge success and in turn, immense job satisfaction. If you feel you meet the discussed criteria please send your CV without delay.
