Housing adviser required to work within the emergency accomdation team of a local authority in the West Yorkshire area. The role will be for a minimum of 8 weeks. The main duties of the role will be liaison with support workers at Partner Agencies. Completion of Homelessness Assessments. Carrying out face to face interviews with Customers. Explaining housing options to customers. Making appropriate referrals to temporary emergency accommodation. Arranging viewings of private rented accommodation with landlords
Candidates must have previous experience working within a support role ideally working within homelessness of housing advise.
