A Housing Adviser is required for a Housing Aid Centre in Central London.
As a Housing Adviser you will be required to provide clients with advice both over the telephone and face to face working in partnership with agencies at a local and a regional level to ensure effective housing advice access across London.
To apply for for the post you must have at least 2 years experience of working in Welfare Benefits, debts and or housing areas.
If you are successful in obtaining the post you will be working with a team of 5 Housing Advisers supported by a Team Leader and Services Administrator.
Advisers are required to give full advice on different areas of law which are likely to include homelessness and housing, tenancy , domestic violence, asylum and immigration , relaitonshipbreakdown, dampness and disrepair, illegal eviction, welfare and housing benefits, debt, employment, family law and community care. Advisers will also undertake work on aspects of complex advocacy cases through which Advisers are closely supported by a Senior Adviser or Team Leader.
