We are seeking to employ an interim Housing Options Team Leader for an Authority in Northamptonshire.
Duties: - To manage and co ordinate the Housing Options Team providing information on housing options to the public to assist them in seeking suitable affordable accommodation while preventing or delaying homelessness wherever possible - To manage the arrangements for all initial approaches to the council from those seeking advice or in housing need, setting guidelines for the processes to be followed by the team to best meet identified needs - Management responsibility for the Homelessness and Housing Options Officers and Administrative officer
Skills: - Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in Homelessness or Housing Advice - Proven track record of continuous improvement, performance management - Thorough knowledge of Housing Act 1996 as amended, Code of Guidance, case law etc
