ISP Technical Test Engineer - Coventry - Skills: Windows Server, ISA Server, MAC OSC and Linux.
Key Skills:
•To assist the Head of Function by providing detailed reports of any site visit.
•To ensure that the service performance requirements established as part of the accreditation and adopted by providers of internet services and filtering products continue to be provided to a high quality aiding the protection of children online.
•Preparation of evaluation reports to support evidence of compliance and/or non-compliance of Internet Service Providers and filtering providers.
•Liaise with providers and stakeholders to resolve any issues arising from on-site evaluations.
•Ensure that the technical evaluation process employed within this accreditation is robust and auditable, incorporating any lessons learnt from previous evaluations.
Mandatory Skills/Knowledge
-Experience of developing, modifying and running of test scripts;
-ISEB Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (ITIL); and
-Must be able to demonstrate experience of working within a testing / evaluation environment.
-Working knowledge of windows server, ISA Server, MAC OSX and linux with ability to install and configure suitable test suites for testing
-Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
-Must have a high awareness of Internet communication e.g. instant messenger, chat rooms, p2p file sharing, Internet based protocols, email, content filtering software, software
