My client is looking for an experienced Income Managment Officer.
To administer the invoicing, collection and reconciliation of income, including Supporting People grant, Private (Leasehold) Retirement service charges, rent arrears, HB, Emergency Response Service and room hire/contracts

Key elements
·Develop and maintain good relationships with finance department, including rent and service charge accounting teams, sales and the IS team.
Regular contact with Supported Housing Managers, Leasehold Managers, and Scheme Managers, for example, on individual rent and service charge arrears cases.
·Regular liaison with Housing Benefit and Supporting People officers to ensure maximised income for the organisation.
·Liaison with benefit advice agencies.
·Regular liaison with the ERS Team leader and organisations who contract the service.
·Liaison with organisations who hire the use of our communal facilities
·Administering the collection of Supporting People income from self paying service users and the administering authority.
·Submitting claims for SP grant to local authorities.
·Invoicing for income due for contracted Emergency Response and Scheme Manager visiting services.
·Administering rent and service charge arrears recovery as detailed in the income management policy and procedures, including current and former arrears.
·Assist Senior Housing and Leasehold Manager with more complex cases and preparation of arrears cases for court action.
·Send out annual rent and service charge increase notices.
·Invoice organisations in respect of the hiring and use of our communal facilities, and collect guest rooms income.
·Send out arrears letters and arrange, with SHM's, agreements to pay.
·Send out quarterly statements to tenants and leaseholders.
·Contact lenders in regard to leaseholders arrears, where advised by Leasehold Managers and SHLM.
