Our client, a leading Development Agency, is seeking to appoint an Information Systems Officer. Your role will be to lead on the PC replacement programme, ensuring effective communication across the organisation. To support the ongoing industry quality standard assurance and to provide second and third level support to the Service Desk in responding to ICT related issues.
The Main Responsibilities of the role will be to:
• Manage the relationship between the Service Desk Team and Infrastructure Team.
• Enable the change, availability and release management processes for all changes and new implementations within ICT and Knowledge Management
• Monitor the ICT and Infrastructure performance relating to IS27001 and work with the Information Security Officer to attain and keep IS27001 accreditation. Enabling our organisation to conform to the ERDF audits.
• Co-ordinate and be responsible for projects related to the delivery of information systems and services.
• Ensure delivery of associated performance scorecard targets
• Manage all second and third line incidents from the Service Desk.
The Ideal candidate will have previous Project management experience, excellent IT skills, knowledge of telecommunications as well as knowledge of Laptop configuration including remote installations.
