Infrastructure Project Manager - 6 Months - Telford - Must have VoIP (Voice over IP) experience.
Under the guidance of the Deputy Programme Manager or the Network Convergence Sub-Programme Manager, the Project Manager, with his/her experience of VoIP, will work as part of a team where you will have responsibility for delivering specific projects. These projects (Network Convergence – merging the voice and data networks - and Disaster Recovery) will play a major part in improving our clients infrastructure and providing improved quality and reliability for other major delivery programmes.
Key Knowledge/Skills: -Typically a graduate, preferably with (or studying for) a professional qualification or post graduate education relating to project management. -Proven delivery experience of leading one or more complete infrastructure projects, end to end. -Experience of managing a substantial VoIP (Voice over IP) rollout or of delivering a major Disaster Recovery infrastructure initiative -Experience of managing business and technical resources in an outsourced service delivery regime. -Experience of managing projects costing in excess of £10m would be an advantage. -Experience of managing work and deliverables of internal and external suppliers -Experience of managing a team of people in a matrix management environment -Experience of working within both a structured and an unstructured project delivery environment -Experience in the development and delivery of ICT infrastructure.
