Based in South London, this Local Authority has an excellent opportunity for an interim manager within the Culture and Community Services Directorate. You will be responsible to the Head of Operations for developing, monitoring, reviewing and evaluating strategies and plans for transforming a designated area (or areas) of Trading Services.
You will be responsible for providing extra professional capacity, expertise and support to operations managers; helping to embed a culture of innovation and excellence in the delivery of services; developing customer care strategies that increase business competitiveness and market share.
We are looking for a candidate that is able to use process mapping and change management techniques, to undertake from time to time fundamental remodelling of defined elements of services where radical changes are required to make them more competitive and/or responsive to customer demands. You will also be required to work closely with the Performance, Policy and Research team to drive up standards of performance and star ratings of services.
