PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
To assist in the provision of an efficient in house Drawing Office service by the preparation of drawings using computer aided and traditional draughting methods to Company Standards.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1.To prepare drawings by Computer Aided Design (CAD) and traditional draughting techniques in accordance with drawing office user guide. 2.To check drawings in accordance with drawing office user guide. 3.To issue drawings in accordance with drawing office user guide. 4.To maintain standard drawings as contained in the drawing office user guide. 5.To develop the Junior Cad Technician in accordance with the Individual's & Company Requirements. 6.Assist with other activities in the Development and Technical department or other areas of the company as requested from time to time.
KEY JOB ELEMENTS
1.Act in accordance with the Company's Health & Safety & Environmental Policies and standards. 2.Monitor and review emerging technical developments and drawipractisesces, providing management data as necessary. 3.Demonstrate commitment to the Company by showing a constructive attitude to achieve individual and group targets. 4.Resolve / escalate issues in a timely fashion, and communicate difficult / sensitive information tactfully. 5.Inspire team members to attain goals & assist the development of other colleagues. 6.Be flexible and adaptable, give and share knowledge, keep communication simple and take time to explain issues to others.
PRINCIPAL SKILLS
1.Knowledge and experience of topographical land surveying techniques. 2.SkillAuto CADCAD operator. 3.Knowledge and experience of 3 Dimensional Modelling techniques 4.Well organised and logical thinker. Self-motivated with the ability to work to deadlines and constantly juggle priorities. 5.Good team player 6.Good written and oral skills. 7.Good numerical skills. 8.Sense of humour and resilience. 9.Full driving licence.
