Our client, a well respected Executive Agency, is currently seeking to employ a Knowledge Management and IT service Delivery Officer. Your role shall be to maintain an effective and secure Information Technology infrastructure and assist with the production of user development programmes.
Responsibilities of the role shall include:
Provide IT support to the group's Regional Advisers who are not office based Providing 2nd line Hardware and Software IT Support for Servers You will act as first line of support for the Executive directorate Provide training for consultants and staff on the system and ensure that records are kept in accordance with the organisations policy.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience: Experience in managing and co-coordinating a series of projects Comfortable dealing with internal and external contacts and to use influencing skills whenever required. Ability to make IT jargon and issues comprehensible to others Ability to give clear guidelines and instructions on deadlines and standards Proven IT knowledge including experience of the following: Installing, configuring and maintaining Windows 2000/XP, Daily administration of Active Directory, Supporting troubleshooting of Active Directory, Group Policies, DHCP and DNS, Installing, configuring and troubleshooting mainstream applications such as Microsoft office Professional, MS Visio, Adobe writer
Installing, configuring and troubleshooting IT hardware (DELL), Supporting management of anti-virus products,
It is essential you have a a strong background inA background in knowledge management and IT service delivery within a public sector organisation. You must also have good communication skills and the ability to work within an active team environment.
