We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic Laundry Assistant with a positive approach to join Anchor Homes.
Job Role:
To launder residents personal clothing and bedding etc. ensuring items are washed with due regard to temperature and washing instructions.
To be responsible for minor repairs, i.e. buttons on shirts, hems, etc.
To maintain an organised system for laundry and linen storage.
Advise when further supplies of detergents are required.
To contribute to health and safety procedures as required including reporting of equipment failures.
The Person:
Must be hard working and have a positive attitude
Must be empathetic to the needs of older people
