Learning Support Assistant
One of London's leading FE colleges, based in a vibrant area of East London, is looking for experienced Teaching Assistants and Learning Support assistants to join its expanding team in August and September.
The college is a lively and friendly place to work, with good managers focused on students' and staff needs.
As a support worker you could help those with learning difficulties or physical disabilities in class with their studies, or around the college getting to and from class. Students ages will range from 14 to adults.
You should have excellent written and spoken English skills, and be patient to work with these students. Your commitment to helping these students will be paramount, so your punctuality and reliability will be essential.
You will be paid between £8 - £9 per hour and the contract may go through until July 2009. Full time and part time opportunities are available as well as temporary and permanent contracts.
