A Mechanical & Electrical Technical Officer is required in Peterborough. This is a permanent position, salary depending on experience.
Our client is public sector organisation responsible for planned and preventative maintenance, grounds maintenance and reactive maintenance requests.
Applicants must have experience in Management of Works, dealing with clients and a good technical knowledge and commercial understanding; hands on is not essential as it is a hard role to transfer in to from a previous practical role.
Either a Electrical or Mechanical back ground is essential but with a good to basis understanding of the other discipline.
Applicants should be qualified to HND/HNC levels in a technical discipline and have a good knowledge of relevant techniques and processes. Will have a proven track record preferably within a maintenance environment preferably within the MOD estate. Previous M&E experience is essential.
