We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Manager for a Social Housing provider in Nottingham. They are looking to cover a post for an interim period of 3-4 months with a possible extension beyond this.
The role involves the management of a team of 6 surveyors and also support staff. You will need an awareness of budgetary control, although will not have direct responsibility over finances. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be able to pick up the responsibilities of the position with little or no supervision.
You must have proven experience of people management and knowledge of the responsive repairs procedure. Previous experience of working for a Social Housing provider is essential.
