A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join a large education authority in central London.
We are looking for a proactive Manager on an interim basis to manage the in-house maintenance team and external contractors ensuring that the appropriate resources are applied to the organisation estate.
Main responsibilities will be daily development, implementation and usage of operation and maintenance procedures. Ensuring compliance with all statutory, regulatory and industry standards. Provision of management reports, risk assessment and ensuring that health & safety standards are met. Additional to contractors, You will also be responsible for 8 in-house members of staff, devising weekly rotas and monitoring performance.
You will be an experienced Maintenance Manager coupled with the ability to communicate at all levels and to objectively judge situations and take appropriate action. A background in M&E engineering or maintenance is essential, knowledge of contracts management and budget control is advantageous.
